    This annual event mobilizes volunteers to complete outdoor improvements such as yard work, landscaping, and minor outdoor repairs to make veterans’ homes safer, more accessible, and more enjoyable.

    United Way’s Day of Caring is our community’s largest corporate volunteer event. Every September, hundreds of employees from companies across Kent County “report to work” at local nonprofit agencies.
